My wife and myself called in at lunch time for a coffee. My wife who has a wheat intolerance fancied a bit to eat so she enquired if they had anything gluten free. The waiter explained to my wife what was available and she chose a fish finger sandwich. I order the same from the normal menu both priced at 6.95. when our plates were placed in front of us, mine consisted of two sandwiches with four fish fingers and a side salad, however my wife's only had one small sandwich with only two fish fingers! I mentioned this to the lady inside saying that my wife was gluten free and not on a diet! The lady then replied that she didn't want to over face my wife! I couldn't believe it! If you pay the same price for two meals you should have the same portion size, and not have the waitress determine how much she thinks you can eat! No amends was offered so paid our bill and left!
Great little Wine and Coffee house. Fantastic atmosphere and attentive staff. Would recommend to start or end your evening. Midnight close.
